Kisspeptins are a family of peptides produced from the KISS1 gene. Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest active form: the final ten amino acids, which bind the same receptor (KISS1R, also called GPR54) as the longer versions.
Kisspeptin signalling sits upstream of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), so it's widely used in research on the hormonal pathways that control reproduction and puberty. Each Monark vial contains 10mg of lyophilized peptide, tested by an independent laboratory.
Every batch is tested for purity by an independent laboratory, and the results are recorded on a certificate of analysis (COA).
Request the COA for this productSupplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. Keep sealed vials cool, dry and away from light, and handle using standard laboratory practice. Our free Ultimate Peptide Guide covers storage and record-keeping in detail.
All Monark products are sold for laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

The peptide
The KISS1 gene produces a longer protein that's cut into several kisspeptins of different lengths. Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest of them, and it keeps the ability to activate the kisspeptin receptor.
Because that receptor helps trigger the release of GnRH, kisspeptin is a key tool in studies of the reproductive hormone axis.
In the literature
Studied in laboratory models of the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis.
Explored for its role upstream of gonadotropin-releasing hormone release.
Investigated in research on links between energy balance and hormonal pathways.
Summaries of published preclinical research, for reference only. Not a claim of any effect in humans or animals.
